Sign up to PlayStation Network and dive into a world of fresh and exciting entertainment on PS3, PS Vita and PSP.
1. Go to eu.playstation.com/registration.
Select Sign up to PlayStation Network.
2. Select Create a New Account.
3. Enter your details.
You must be 18 or over to create a Sony Entertainment Network account.
When creating a password, make sure this contains at least eight characters including one number. Then read the terms of service and user agreement before confirming you agree and creating a new account.
4. Select PlayStation® Systems.
5. Select Update Account.
6. Enter Identity details and select Continue.
7. Enter Location details and select Continue.
8. Enter Billing Information.
You can choose to store payment information at this point which you will need to purchase items from PlayStation Store. If you don't want to do this now, select No to continue.
9. Select a PlayStation Network Online ID.
Your Online ID is your publicly displayed name in PlayStation Network and is shown when you play online games and use other online features. The Online ID must be three to 16 characters and can consist of letters, numbers, hyphens (-) and underscores (_). You cannot change your Online ID once it has been created.
10. Set your Notification Preferences.
This is where you can sign up to receive the latest updates from PlayStation, including great offers and information on product releases.
11. Sign-up complete.
Head back to eu.playstation.com to use your Sony Entertainment Network account details to register your PlayStation system, create a Portable ID and sign up for email updates.
