Take part in the PlayStation Home fashion challenge

Get your creative hat on and dress to impress in PlayStation Home.

Been shopping in PlayStation Home recently? Bought a funky new outfit or some cool new threads and want to show them off? Well, now's your chance to let the world see your style - log in to PlayStation Home on your PlayStation 3 and take part in the PlayStation Home fashion challenge.

Keep your eyes peeled at community.eu.playstation.com and PlayStation.Blog from Friday 3 August 2012 at 10:00 BST, where the Community Team will announce a different theme for your outfits and accessories. The first theme is national colours, so it's time to root through your virtual wardrobe or head to the shops in PlayStation Home and find a get-up that's as patriotic as possible. When you're donning your new clobber, take a picture using the camera in PlayStation Home and show it off by uploading it to the Forum thread.

If you don't fancy dressing up yourself, feel free to take a snap of someone else you spot in PlayStation Home wearing an outfit that's captured the theme perfectly.

To transfer your photo to your PC and upload it the Official PlayStation Forums at community.eu.playstation.com follow these instructions.

• Plug a USB stick into your PS3 system.
• On the XMB Menu, go to [Photo].
• Scroll down to find the folder with the date that the photo was taken.
• Press the Triangle button to open the options menu.
• Select [Copy].
• Choose the USB stick as the destination for the picture copy.
• Press the X button to copy onto the USB stick.
• You can then copy the image to your PC from your USB stick.
• Go to the PlayStation Home fashion show thread on your PC at community.eu.playstation.com.
• Click [Reply] at the top of the thread, attach your picture and click [Post].

You have until Friday 10 August 2012 at 23:59 BST to get your entries in for the national colours round, and on Thursday 16 August 2012, 12 winners who submitted the outfit most relevant to the chosen theme will be announced.
