Everything you need to know about PlayStation Move is right here – so find out how to get moving.

What is the PlayStation Move motion controller?
PlayStation Move brings motion control gaming to a whole new playing field, and exclusively on PlayStation 3. It allows you to become more immersed into your games by translating your very movements into on-screen actions with incredible accuracy, working in tandem with the equally revolutionary PlayStation Eye camera.

Its Wireless and sleek design means the motion controller is incredibly easy to use, so it doesn't matter if you're lining up a perfect shot with a bow or blowing away space aliens - you'll always feel in control.

When can I get PlayStation Move and where can I get it from?
PlayStation Move will be available at all good retailers from 15 September 2010.

How much does PlayStation Move cost?
PS Move comes in two separate packages so you can choose how you start moving:

• PlayStation Move motion controller - available as a stand alone unit for £34.99
• PlayStation Move motion controller, PlayStation Eye camera and starter disc - £49.99

The starter disc includes an instructional video on how to set up PlayStation Move and demos of a range of titles to give you a tantalising taste of what it's like to play with.

There will also be game bundles which will fire you straight into the action with PlayStation Move. Keep an eye out on eu.playstation.com to learn more about them.

Do I need anything else to use PlayStation Move?
The PlayStation Eye camera is required to track the PS Move motion controller's movements, which is why you have the option to buy both in a bundle. Alternately, you can buy one from retailers for £24.99. If you already own a PlayStation Eye camera for PlayStation 3 then that will work fine.

While not essential to use with PS Move, you can enhance your experience even further with the PlayStation Move navigation controller, which can be used for intuitive in-game navigation (or alternatively you can use a wireless controller in its stead); the PlayStation Move Charging Station, which will allow you to charge up to two PS Move motion controllers or the navigation controller at once without having to connect them to the PlayStation 3 system; and the PlayStation Move shooting attachment, which is designed to let you play with the PS Move motion controller horizontally to mimic a gun for easier aiming.

What features does PlayStation Move have?
Along with pinpoint precision, PS Move is equipped with a variety of buttons for traditional gameplay, including the easily accessible Move button for quick-fire actions, so you'll always have options at your fingertips. PS Move has vibration feedback as well, so you'll feel the powerful effects of your gameplay.

There is also a colour changing sphere on top of the PS Move motion controller, which reflects your in-game activities. For example, if you're painting a picture with the PS Move motion controller and select green paint, the sphere may turn green as well.

PS Move is Wireless, which means you'll have the full freedom of movement when taking down the opposition in your games, and it's rechargeable with the PS3 system via the USB connection ports, so you won't have the hassle of changing batteries.

Don't worry if you're left-handed, either - PS Move can be calibrated for left-handed use as well as right.

How does PlayStation Move work?
PlayStation Move uses advanced motion tracking technology, combining a number of built-in inertial sensors, with the PlayStation Eye camera to track the motion controller's position in 3D space. This means it's accurate to the nearest millimetre and uses a system which is five times faster than that of a typical human's reflexes. In short, your movements are truly replicated to precise degrees.

What launch games will be available for PlayStation Move?
There are a variety of games that will get you moving on 15 September 2010, transporting you to a world of fun for all ages:

  • Sports Champions
  • Start the Party!
  • EyePet Move Edition
  • Kung Fu Rider
  • Toy Story 3
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011
  • Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
  • R.U.S.E
  • Racket Sports

What games are available for PlayStation Move after launch?
Many types of game have been tested with PS Move, so there will be an experience for you no matter if you're looking for a pulse-pounding, core game experience or some whacky family fun. There will be over 40 titles that can use PS Move by March 2011, including:

  • TV Superstars
  • The Shoot
  • The Fight
  • Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest
  • LittleBigPlanet 2
  • Tron: Evolution
  • Virtua Tennis 4
  • Hustle Kings
  • Heavy Rain Move Edition
  • echochrome II
  • Tumble

How many players can use PlayStation Move at the same time?
Up to four PS Move motion controllers can be used at once on your PlayStation 3 system, making sure that four player games are an explosion of movement. Most PlayStation Move games only require one motion controller, but some offer the choice of using two if you want to gain even more precision - and look pretty stylish while you're at it.
