A voyage of mystery

A voyage of mystery

In the world of Datura, you can expect the unexpected. This curious forest will have you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning, as you explore your surroundings and try to figure out why you've ended up there.

There is no dialogue either in the game - you're on your own here. You may come across some other characters but they have little interest in making conversation. Instead, the eerie whispers of unseen creatures, dramatic music and the crunching of autumnal leaves underfoot will add menace to the tension and ratchet up your sense of panic as your character starts to breathe more heavily and quickly.

An intriguing combination of a naturally beautiful landscape and an intense, ghostly atmosphere creates an exhilarating sense of unease as you can only anticipate what is round each corner.

Viewing every moment of the action through the eyes of your character will draw you into this gripping tale of mystery and surprise - will you make it out of the forest?

Download Datura to your PlayStation 3 from PlayStation Store and prepare for a compelling adventure in which you shape the story.

Beautiful yet deadly

Beautiful yet deadly

Datura on PlayStation 3 has much in common with the plant that shares the same name. At first glance, both are visually attractive and beautiful to look at. However, the closer you get, the more dangerous these things become. The seemingly innocent datura plant can be dangerous and toxic, causing one to become disorientated or delirious. Datura on PS3 isn't a predictable ride either - prepare to be thrown into a dark and mysterious forest where things aren't quite what they seem.

This unusual adventure begins in the back of an ambulance and you're lying on the stretcher. It's here that you'll first operate your right hand using your PlayStation Move motion controller and interact with your surroundings - this is the only part of your body you'll see on-screen throughout the game and it proves to be an intuitive control method. In a few inexplicable seconds, you'll wake up again in an eerie forest.

Datura will throw you between this haunting woodland and pulse-pounding situations where quick thinking is a must. You may find yourself suddenly driving a car at night on a busy motorway - will you choose to avoid the animals on the road as you tear through the dark? Remember that every decision you make will shape the path of your story, and when you return to the forest things could be very different.

The next challenge isn't always apparent in Datura, so make sure you hunt everywhere to reveal new areas and find out more about your unexpected journey to this mysterious realm.
